If I could give this store and my entire experience 100 stars I would do just that. I have to just say that I had an extraordinary experience at the Oak Point Store in Watson, LA today. Prepare for a run on sentence.. it's worth it! From the young lady that greeted me at the door to the young man in the meat department to the young lady on the seasoning aisle to the young man in the cooler section to the cashier who checked me out to the young man who got completely soaked to get me a buggy and then offered to help me to my car... GOD BLESS YOU!!! I have NEVER had that type of experience in my life. Those young people had no idea how much I needed them, but then again they did!! It was genuine help! Oak Point in Watson... If you ever find yourself way out in Denham, which a lot of people do, but I don't, except this time, but not again, maybe, probably, but not sure, check out this place. I went in for a sole purpose: Chantilly Berry Cake. Heard it was good. Was very good. They had many sizes. I got the big one. You get whatever size you like but I do suggest you try it. The people working there seemed nice too.
I absolutely love oakpoint grocery store. The cashiers are always friends so friendly, pleasant to speak too. The baggers are always ready to help, especially when it rains. I don't even go to Walmart anymore, because we love oak point so much!!

Oak Point is a first class operation. If you want to see customer service in action this is the place. All the employees are curteous and willing to help you find what you need. The owners are the salt of the earth. They helped the Watson community so much during the flood of 2016. They were open and kept the shelves stocked as best they could. We Watsonites have much to be thankful for and it starts with Oak Point!
I can't say enough good things about this store. Everyone from management on down has always been so very friendly. You can always depend on them to be there as soon as possible after a hurricane. The department that stands out to me personally is the meat department. I will only buy my meats from Oak Point. They can be expensive, but the quality is hard to beat and they have really good sales making it easy to stock up. The store is always clean. It looks clean and it smells clean. From personal experience, I think every employee knows the location of everything in that store, and will often walk with you to make sure you find what you need.
